I love how the clothing on the characters you draw actually looks like it's a tight piece, rather than part of the skin (or fur).

Awesome! Thanks a lot for doing this.
Considering this was your first time drawing a squirrel, you did quite a nice job. I especially like her hair and eye. Ā I think she might have gained some weight during the transition though.
Gwen does have a curvy figure when I draw her, but here she has a pudgy little belly and some very thick, chubby looking thighs and calves. I know that's part of your style and I don't have problem with it. That's why I get interested to see other people draw my OCs, and seeing how they choose to apply their artistic style to a pre-existing character.
If I could nitpick anything, it would be that her muzzle, chest, and stomach fur is supposed to be a light tan color. Again, that's just a nitpick. The white works fine here. Her tail could also have been a little larger, but that's really grasping at straws.
It's interesting that you chose to have her leaning against a bar. Her expression suggests a line like, "Wanna come and talk? I don't bite". Which is entirely in keeping with her character as a misunderstood sweetheart. I do hope that's a soda she's drinking though. Remember, she's 20 years old.
I really appreciate you doing this. It looks great all around. If you'd ever like me to draw one of your OCs, feel free to ask.

It's the least I can do. I appreciate people who make time to draw others' characters and do them justice. Your version of Gwen may be a bit plumper than mine, but you really managed to capture the essence of her character in a simple pose and expression. She represents a dichotomy between the dark and threatening, and sweet innocence, going to show that there may be more to something than what you see on the surface.
She's confident, comfortable in her own skin, and always willing to give others a chance. She's definitely one of my favorites.
I'm serious about that offer too. Don't hesitate to ask.
