About time I use my figures more as reference for my art.
I saw a similar reference sheet a long time ago and the idea of making one for my anime work has been with me ever since. Finally took the effort and made one using my Black Rock Shooter RAH figure as model, though removed her twin tails for these shots.
I reckon this will save me some time looking up reference for portraits.
Hope this comes in handy for others too! I might make more later on using other characters or just other angles in general.

she is a RAH - Real Action Hero figure made by Medicom. Pretty much fully jointed like figmas are but they are 30 cm / 11 inch tall. As they are very expensive, I just stuck to getting one of each 3 muses that got me back into drawing a couple of years ago.
With Miku coming out at the start of the year, they're all sitting together now.

It's something I easily get wrong when doing it a bit more realistic. I've already used this sheet once of twice when doing simple portraits sketches so it's already proving quite useful! Hope it helps you out as well!

Thank you! That was actually what caught my attention in the reference sheet that inspired this.
Mainly how the two lights blend with each other. I'd love to try and make one with a red and blue light to show where they blend to purple. Or also have bright colored reflective surfaces to show how the light bounces around the figure ^__^ I hope I manage to take photos like that later on!

I think I'll try to keep in mind the different useful realistic references I come across and later remake them with anime figures to get their anime equivalent!
