Nice photo, how do you find the Tokina? I'm tossing up between 12-24 and 11-16. On same camera as well

Its a good lens, use it about 60-70% of the time. I used the 11-16 for about a day, and i'd have to say that they are about the same quality. Maybe the 11-16 is a little sharper but not by much. I found the 11-16 did not have enough range for me. The sigma 8-16 is around the same price, and I hear good things about it if you get a good one, but its sigma and their quality control is not the best. The nikon 10-24 is only like 200-300(usd) more and comes w/ some weather sealing and covers both tokina ranges and has maybe a slight advantage in optics but i'd say the tokina's are built better.
Best thing I can tell you is go to a shop w/ your camera and try them for yourself and see what feels/looks/costs best for you.

Thanks mate. I checked out the 8-16mm today and it was amazing however there's absolutely no where that has any Tokina's in stock for me to test The 8mm was spectacular but not being able to use filters is a concern.

only filter you would need that wide would be nd or a grad and you can get those in plates and hold them infont of the lens if your really worried about it and want the lens. cpls are worthless at that wide of an angle.

Yeh ND is the one I want the most. I ended up getting 8-16mm in the end the extra few mm are fantastic
