I play as Pit, and I never use that attack
I hate people who overuse it
BUT OH WELL
I remember going to a convention and battling with college students
And I won as Pit
and they were like "THATS BECAUSE PIT IS CHEAP"
When I used none of his cheap attacks

i havent played it in a while but i main lucas. i wanted to main pit but i could never get used to playing him.

Pit is pretty hard to get used to because he has slow attacks and can be hit farther than others.
He also takes the longest time to recover from flinching.
So it takes me a while to get used to other characters
I'm not used to their heaviness.
But it was fun hearing the others complain when I picked Pit
"Aww Pit is cheap!"
And when I won
"YOU JUST WON BECAUSE YOU CHOSE PIT. ITS NOT FAIR."

hahah yea i had people scream at me for winning because "lucas is cheap", then bitched about the stage i chose and items were on etc
so i turned items off, played on the stage they wanted, and i still won. their excuse then was "lag", except brawl doesnt have lag on one side: its shared, so i knew that was bs to start with lol
i dont get why people cant just have fun whether they win or lose.

Reminds me of back before brawl was released, me, my brother, my cousin, and some 9 year old second cousin were playing melee.
The 9 year old kept on loosing and started crying and started to beg for us to let her win once, and we kept on having to say "We're playing for fun, not for winning, if you're not having fun, stop playing."
But she kept on playing and crying and it was really annoying and hard to deal with.
We ended up getting in trouble for no reason.

You know what's fun? Going to the Mario Bros. Level, finding a corner, and doing that move for the whole match. Basically, if they throw a turtle or crab at you, they die. XD

Silly Yaffcario, you know it's silly to try and shoot a character who has two reflecting special moves! You'd think somebody would have found that to be a little imbalanced... I don't have Brawl and I already have a feeling Pit is going to frustrate me a whole damn lot. STUPID SEXY PIT.

Well, it's true... not only does Pit have a gigantic shield that blocks all coming fire, but his HAYAYAYAYA sword spinning move also works wonders at reflecting things too, as the comic above demonstrates. And while we're at it, I think you can reflect projectiles if you time your block button precisely, so Pit likely has 3 ways of deflecting attacks.
It's pretty cool.

Yeah, all the characters in the game can do the block reflect. It just takes precise timing to pull it off... I've only done it by mistake a couple of times. BTW, what characters do you plan on using? So far I like using Ike, Fox, Mario, Sonic, and Wolf

I love playing as Pit. He really is infuriating.
You could try to import the game and use a freeloader on it, but theres the chance that your wii will be one of the stupid ones that won't run dual layer games. Then you won't be able to send your wii in for repairs. Bummer

I've found that Wario is also a really infuriating character to play with too. It seems like more annoying techniques come up relating to that guy every day of the week. He can eat everything, has more jumps than logically possible with intense air manipulation on top of this, and a generally over-the-top personality too. He seems like he'll be hell if you're a big enough jerk.
Now, my Wii is actually a UK-launch Wii, so I just have a feeling I'm gonna be a bit screwed when Brawl comes out. I don't really fancy getting a freeloader either, somehow I just feel Nintendo will find a way around it at some point. I'm just gonna be the fool and wait patiently for it. Oh well, at least we get Mario Kart Wii earlier.

Wario is just really weird to play against and play as. I can't get used to him.
My Wii is a US launch Wii and it worked fine with Brawl. Probably best to just wait it out though

Well, that sounds just like what I wanted Wario to be, at least. I'll probably get into playing as him when I can. Since I'm also looking to get into Ness and Lucas, I'll probably spend a lot of Brawl time practicing. It's a good job Luigi and Game and Watch return to Brawl otherwise I just wouldn't have a leg to stand on... truth be told, I want to play as pretty much every newcomer... even Yaffcario looks like a pretty cool guy. I'll have to watch out for all 'dem reflectors, though.
I'm not so sure what the issue is with some Wiis not reading Brawl. I hear smoking is related to this cause and since I live with a bunch of smokers I'm beginning to get rather nervous. Of course, I'm more nervous about the fact Brawl still doesn't seem to have a release date over here. It will probably be years before we see that, hmm. I might just end up copping out if it gets too long.

My dad smokes in front of where my Wii was like all the time and it works fine. It's not smoke or anything, it's just cheap lenses inside the Wii, thats what I'm thinking
