This comic manages to eloquently describe many common tropes and faults in the Team Fortress 2 slash fandom mentality and yet still amuse instead of enrage. A fun satire.
The combination of art styles and shifts is jarring at first but easily decoded via the two-tone colouring system, a good aesthetic choice. I am also impressed by the stunning symbolism in the fourth panel in which a hidden image within an image shows us, the reader, that in noticing it we are personally at mercy of the mentality subject to this satire. We, in the end, are all driven to these tropes and faults because of our sexuality. (If anyone didn't notice, there is a dick. Hint: it's hidden in the elephant's trunk.)
My only irk is that the border between panels two and three is not as thick as the others. There is no practical use for this, it is sloppy. Otherwise there's no problem.
Although I don't hand out full marks for originality because this is hardly the only satire of the subject, I must note that it is one of the most well-executed.
