Yay! New project (of course I still haven't finished the last one!). I'm designing characters for The Perilous Gard (one of my favorite childhood reads!). I'm rereading it now and I am falling in love with it all over again. It perfectly straddles the line between fairy tale, historical fiction, and snarky romance. What's not to love?

Here we have Kate Sutton, the protagonist. The Perilous Gard is set in England in the 1550s during the reign of Mary Queen of Scots. Kate is lady-in-waiting to Princess Elizabeth until Queen Mary exiles her to the mysterious Elvenwood where secrets abound.

Kate again, but this time her full body and possible costume designs. Suggestions and comments are welcome
