changing my moondancer/tempest ships again? noooo... not me

so firstly! sunburst is a trans woman in my headcanon :] VERY inspired by S0ftServe 's wonderful trans sunburst ideas... i think cadance, another trans woman, saw this little egg after she started hanging around sunburst a little more when she became flurry heart's crystaller and made it Her Mission to crack her open and make her more comfortable with herself!

sunburst's identity was very shaky when she still identified as a stallion; her unkempt, shut-in nature was very much a product of her discomfort with herself and her appearance. as she started presenting a little more femininely (growing out and styling her hair more, experimenting with makeup, and even shaving her beard [which was not well received by anyone, especially herself, she LOVES her wise-looking wizard beard) she gained much more confidence in herself.

sunburst starts putting herself out there a little more with her newfound identity! making more friends, going out more, not spending so much time being locked up in her house.

...and matchmaker twilight appears. after her reconnection with moondancer, she's been actively looking for ponies who she thinks would mesh well with her friendship-wise. sunburst appears, with fresh confidence and strikingly similar hobbies and past issues with moondancer. the two love studying, books, magic, history, and are still adjusting to their new social lives. moondancer visits the crystal kingdom with twi one day and they Accidentally Bump Into sunburst at the local library. they immediately strike up a conversation and hit it off like nothing twilight's ever seen.

fast forward a few months; the two are happily dating and moondancer has moved in with sunburst. the events of the mlp movie happen, and after a little moving around, tempest shadow settles in the crystal kingdom. she easily finds a job helping shining armor train royal guards there, and thus is in close proximity to sunburst. both sunburst and moondancer Immediately develop a massive crush on this super cool, mysterious butch and, in their weird, awkward, nerdy ways, charm her into a few dates. tempest is strangely taken with these two disastrous femmes and eventually moves in with them, too.

the two of them encourage tempest to take it easy and focus on himself, eventually coaxing him out of the rigorous guard-training job and into something he enjoys a little more: baking! tempest joins the staff of a local bakery and specializes in sweets, especially wonderfully-decorated cakes. her horn is still broken and doesn't function correctly, but her hoof precision with detailed icing florets is admired kingdom-wide. he is much happier with his "housewife and local beloved baker" lifestyle.

still the official crystaller for all of the babies that have ever and could ever come forth from the royal family. loves visiting her wives at their jobs. very happy and confidently a mare!

a very odd little filly. wildly interested in the macabre and anything dark or strange, and keeps to herself unless asked. lenore speaks very carefully and monotonously when she does talk. she usually has her nose buried in a book or a notepad, reading or scribbling away at a short story that would surely make anypony's eyes widen. dearly loved and borderline spoiled by her three moms, who are all equally proud of her for various reasons (interest in books or her intimidating, dark aura).

lenore attends the school of friendship and is often seen with wonder! the two are very different, but get along surprisingly well, often broadening one another's horizons with book recommendations and story ideas.

she also doesn't seem to blink all that much...?
