I enjoy how the muted colors reflect the subject matter. When I think of someone who is thin like the subject in the photo, I don't think of someone who enjoys life. The first thing that comes to mind is someone who has confined themslelves to a transient and unhealthy concept of beauty. Committed themselves to other peoples perceptions, despite the fact that self esteem can only be grown in the warm consistent light of loving yourself. The fleeting and cold flicker of other peoples perceptions can only foster the weeds of self doubt. If someone lets the vibrant colors that life has to offer into their life they will recognize that they should arrive at a healthy body mass. I pity the subject of this photo; weight like that can only come from either a desire to please, or an insanely fast metabolism. Since my brother has the latter, I understand that it can be just as stressful.
