well she's trying to get rid of beacon's hunters as far as i can tell and remember when they brought the grimm to the city in the finale of volume 2? theyre obviously WANTING the grimm's attention but like you said, we're not sure how that helps herΒ

I imagine Cinder's goal is something along the lines of *spoilers* stealing the rest of Fall's power? That seems to be her main intentions since she already stole half of her power. However in order to do that, it seems that all she'd have to do is sneak into the vaults and kill Fall so rigging the tournament and attracting the Grim seems unecessary. Welp we'll find out soon enough.
