how do you decided when to use smearframes?

Ad how long did it take you to get the anatomy so well that you could animate the character so credible?

Smearframes were a stylistic choice for this scene, I usually do them more subtly. It gives a dynamic and cartoony look. Also there are not many frames and a lot of things happening simultaneously, smears helped me to direct and stabilize the viewer's attention.
I just drew and animated a lot. And I am not new to drawing Tails, I've been a huge Sonic fan since I was 6

And yeah, I can totally tell by this piece that your an a lifetime fan! The love of the characters sparks a lot.. it tells  alot about ya.

If sonic team ever would go hiring for new animated series, I bet you would get the job for sure!
