Inspired by another gentleman's artwork on here because I just love ballet flats. This isn't that great and I tried to steer away from realism in this rendition in favor of something I felt was a little more streamlined and easy to look at. Really not much else to talk about here except for this little fun fact: the flats are metal.Related content

I like this collage of course. But it's a bit contradictory for me. Classical ballet dancers make a very hard work of precision and grace in order to give the feeling that the human body weighs nothing. And I see a ballerina's ballet flat crushing tinies like every giantess would do... This embarasses me a bit...

This guy's render:Β Β I am unfortunately lacking in a program to emulate those velvet wrapping texturing but it didn't prove to be a big deal. I have mixed feelings about this artist however. I think his posing leaves some things to be desired and human textures are not as nice as the environment textures, but this conglomerate of renders made me want to use ballet flats.Β

I'm not sure how I should feel about this... when we are playing with daz and the same assets as everyone else, it is pretty hard to come up with something unique and different. Here you make a fax-smile of my jazz and beyond that explains how my my trumpet is out of tune.
I mean, I'm the new kid on the block, I don't have exposure here, I've posted mine two months ago but your copy have the double of hits in a week, 2 pages of replies while I only had 2 comments and will stay like that. Not that I care that much, but that doesn't feel okay. Do you?

This is nothing to do with being unique or different. 
This work was inspired by looking at your work and aside from the inclusion of flats, is completely different from your contribution. If you take a look at the posing in the ballet flat renders you posted you would also notice how the little man arm's are poorly and unnaturally posed; for instance in the second to last frame he wouldn't intentionally bring his collar and shoulder forward to wrap his arm around the shoe. That just looks silly. But in any case, it's not a personal attack on your character; it's just a personal observation and an objective look at your works.
It does feel okay because I don't care about page view & comment growth on anyone's DeviantArt, including my own. I don't spend my time comparing my page views to other artists who I feel I should be at the same level with.
I think you need to relax and not worry about views or comments. I've been a member here for a few years so one could expect me to have a bit more of a fan base than you but that's not to say my work is better or worse. I'm sorry you're upset over my uprising success on here; I'm sure your own page will skyrocket once more and more people see your works. And make sure to use lots of tags.
