Description Just felt like drawing Kahan ( [link] ) again, since the contest is ending in two days. Did it digitally, because I figured it would be good practice.

You know, initially those purple things were just unspecified things with points at the end. But several people seemed to think they were connected to Kahan's arms/ears/things, so I don't think I'll reveal it. People can interpret it as they like.

I know the cord isn't shaded, sorry. I couldn't shade it in any way that looked correct, it's just too thin. Sorry. I think it still looks good this way though.

Being in your contest has made me have to stare at the same two reference for a good long while now -- I'm rather happy you uploaded this, given now I have a better reference to work with.

First, the pros.

First, it makes it seem like the unshaded cord is almost nonexistent and is simply "bridging the gap", if you get what I mean (kind of that it's half in the portal, half out, and unaffected by this world's laws as of yet)? Now the cons, though to be honest, I didn't see that much wrong with this piece, so most of these will be nitpicks.

e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="10" height="10" alt="" title="Bullet; Red"/> Kahan's right arm/ear looks twisted in an odd way, almost so that the shading looks fake. Might just be my blindness. xD

e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="10" height="10" alt="" title="Bullet; Red"/> Its face is rather deep in shadow compared to the rest of it, and while I can see that possibly being done for a reason, it looks a bit odd.

Probably should have made this earlier.

-I didn't use a tool. That was all by hand. And yes, it took forever.

-Ooh, I like that. I'm using that reasoning for any further issues related to Kahan. Glad it goes along with your contest entry, hope to see it soon.

-I figured I probably shouldn't "reveal" them. It's probably better that way.

Yeah... caught up in a backlog of other stuff right now. Besides, I never claimed I'd upload it soon... I'd originally planned to upload it once I'd finished with the rest of Lovecraft versions fakemon. For now I'm sticking with that plan.

For me, the purple things seemed like what it used to move it's arms. Sort of like muscles. Interesting to see a different pic of Kahan but I think I prefer the first one
