Description
So here's a WIP of an container loading bot I am currently working on, thought I'd post it now, as I am gone for the next weeks and I dunno when I'll be able to finish it.It's got four arms which can be linked, so they can act as two arms. the boxes on the back of the shoulders are counter weights which can swing up and down, so the mecha can keep the balance when handling the containers.

Macht sich bestimmt groΓartig in einer entsprechenden Szene!
Nur die genaue Funktionsweise der Arme wird erst bei der anderen Version, verstΓ€ndlich.
Aber trotzdem, ein sehr cooles pragmatik-Design

Woo! I love loaders! They're one of my favorite design ideas for mecha, because they'd have such a practical use in our society.

Yeah, got kinda uninspired when I came to this point... Will rework it a bit. Thanks!

A neat design. Obviously autonomous or remote control based on the guy standing there, but I see what looks like some windows in the shoulder sections which might indicate it as a huge manned construct, if not to scale. Mostly hydraulic by the look of it... Nice.

Yeah, haven't scaled it till now absolzely right, the woman is just a rough approximation. As it is manned it needs to be a tad bigger.... Thanks!

Yeah, after I made that comment, I saw what looked like a smallish hatch in the top and second guessed myself, but decided to leave it to you to say so or not.

Very cool, Thomas! I love utility mechs. The counterweights are a great idea.
Are you familiar w/ Junji Okubo? He does the best functional/municipal type mechs: [link]
His book Industrial Divinities is a must for hardcore mech maniacs.

Awesome little machine here, I love how I can always recognize your style. This looks very practical and realistic, like most of your designs.
