Inspired by one of the most clever songs I have listened to:

... DAYUM.
First thing I thought of when I heard this (and because I'm a Transformers nerd)... was of Megatron (mostly his Prime-verse self).

Seriously, listen to this song.

For example:
"I am the man who arranges the blocks
That continue to fall from up above.
Come Muscovite! Let the workers unite!
A collective regime of peace and love.
I work so hard in arranging the blocks
But the landlord and taxman bleed me dry
But the workers will rise! We will not compromise
For we know that the old regime must die.
Long live Lenin, kill the tsar!
We salute the sickle and star!"

Let's compare this stanza to pre-Prime/ War for Cybertron:
The "workers" can represent the gladiators/ residents of Kaon. They were trained as gladiators in order to entertain Cybertron's upper-class.
Megatronus was the strongest of the gladiators and quite the motivational 'bot. He wanted to unite the other gladiators in a new age of equal rights for all Cybetronians.
After he befriends the young Orion Pax (later, Optimus Prime), Megatronus relizes how corrupt the caste system truly is. He works behind Orion's back, creating the Decepticon legion. He is convinced that the "old regime" must die.
The solution to bringing his plans to life? He has to kill the old leader: Sentinal Prime. Long live Megatron... bla bla bla...etc.
