Description Been a while since I've done any Ratha fan art. I think this Shongshar piece was created nearly a year ago:

...Well, almost.

Anyway, here's Ratha holding the Red Tongue. Not from any book in particular.

I was experimenting with some new shading techniques, and I have to say, I'm quite pleased with the results. I'm doing my best not to overuse the "spark tool"--but it's so much fun! Pfffffff... sparkly!

...And yeah, I'll get working on that next page of "Of Fortitude and Fury"... soon.... When I'm not drowning in homework.

I missed this, but  I'm glad I found it again.  The sabertooth skull shape makes her look prehistoric and savage, and I like the fur, and the slitted, glowing, green eyes.  Nice work!

I love how you painted the fire -- ethereal-looking. I also like Ratha's fierceness and the complimentary curves between her neck and the flames.

It's a made up species, but they are very similar to cheetahs.
