Sefu was born a month before Simba's return. His mother, a former rogue, fears for his life and swears that one day when the time was right, they would escape the Pride Lands. Scar had forced her to make a choice when she was caught by his hyenas: give him cubs (an heir, basically) or die. Scar's mate, Zira, hated her for stealing her spot as the mother of his heir as their son, Nuka, was considered a runt by Scar. Sefu was proclaimed the heir to the Pride Lands.

Fast forward to Simba's return, Sefu and his mother escaped the Pride Lands during the battle between Simba and Scar. His mother raises him alone and eventually tells him about Scar. A few months later, the family of two meet a small pride. Sefu's mother becomes the leader's mate, he becomes a big brother to his new siblings, and his stepfather accepts him as his own son.

After a year or so, Sefu was patrolling the territory and returned to see the pride slaughtered. Zira and her pride had massacred everyone and stole the cubs to raise her army against Simba. Anger burned through his veins when he saw the extra claw marks on his mother's corpse. He will find Zira. And he will kill her..

I realized that he does look like Scar's son so I guess I made him that XD

If I win his design then I'll draw his mom (with him as a cub, maybe!!).
