Well. Yesterday - October 3, 2010 - was Fullmetal Alchemist day because that's the date carved into Ed's pocketwatch. And like a total idiot, I MISSED it.But what really confuses me is that, in the manga which I copied the date from, the date in Edward's pocketwatch is Oct. 3, 11, not 10. So... What gives? O-o I'm so confused...
Well, whatever. I'm posting this anyway, no matter what the date is. XD

In the first anime Ed and Al burn down their house the 3rd October 1910 after Ed has recovered from his automail-surgery, and then Ed takes the state alchemist exam, while living with the Tuckers.
In the manga, Ed takes the state alchemist exam right after the automail-installation and rehabilitation, and THEN goes back to Resembool to burn their house, the 3th October 1911. (I did NOT have that in my head, ahaha!)

In the first anime series, the date in his watch is 3.Oct.11, but in the manga and Brotherhood it's 3.Oct.11 - that's why.
