Oh lawd worst title ever. Herp ma derp.Sakura Haruno - Naruto Shippuden
This is another shot from my now forever ago shoot with the wonderful David Blue, but since I haven't uploaded anything in a while, and I probably won't be getting any Anime North pictures for a bit, this will have to do. It's kinda sad that I haven't worn this cosplay to a con since Ohayo, but I've just accumulated so many in the past year that I don't always have room for her any more. I think wearing the same thing for almost 4 years wore me down a little. But Sakura will always have a special place in my heart, and I particularly love this shot. Like her namesake, the Sakura blossoms are delicate and elegant (but lord knows she can pack a serious punch whenever she wants). Hopefully I'll get to wear her around with my lovely Hinata/Temari ~SkylitEyed for a future con.

I'm not against contacts at all (I wear them on a daily basis for... bad eye reasons), I just have never really done a whole lot of research into finding ones that work with astigmatisms and stuff. My eyes aren't great, and I have darker blue-green eyes that don't work super well with colored contacts. What's weird is that depending on the wig, they change color to closely resemble those of whatever cosplay I'm doing (they turn blue-ish gray in Boa pictures, Brown in Nami pictures, etc). That was really overly verbose explanation, but I'm sure I'll eventually do it, I just haven't yet.

Hey now, she's made quite a few strides in terms of character development since her beginning as an avid Sasuke obsessor (Kishimoto also doesn't give her a whole lot of love, leaving her a little left behind her two team mates.) I still love her though.
