Description
Here's some concept artwork straight from my sketchbook that features some of the drawings I had to do while figuring out the layout to Panel 10 of my online storybook "The Ballad of Mecha Pinkie Pie". I had fun coming up with the expression for Twilight in this panel (and I still ended up changing it so she was holding the pillow to her ear in the end too). ^^Panel 10 Colored --> [link]

Aw, I like the first, kinda pitiful and drowsy, Twilight.
Final version came out well though, more annoyed.

Yeah - I chose the annoyed one over the pitiful one because I wanted her emotions to contrast between Panels 10 & 11 (from annoyed to suddenly cautious).
