For this challenge Waffles wanted to make sure he was able to protect himself against the other eliminated contestants. Using the scraps he found he managed to design a great defensive strategy to protect himself. This includes a wooden shield used to deflect any thrown projectiles from other competitors. He adds a handle to it so it can be easily accessible will rowing his boat. Using a pole from a previous challenge he taped it to a piece of scrap metal he sharpened in order to create a spear. He will use this to damage any close by ships or knock back anyone who tries to attack him. As for capturing the flags he attached a bug net to his boat to catch flags with. He realized the flags have metal poles, with that in mind he attached a magnet inside the net which will easily nab each flag as he passes the buoys. With this strategy he can easily focus on rowing to the finish and protect his vessel from any harm. With luck he will pass the finish line in 1st place.
