True my pit-bull likes to fight, but not in an aggressive way. she snaps her teeth and acts all snarly and our dogs would jump at each other and pin each other down but would never hurt one another, always had their tail wagging and always seemed happy, before our other dog passed away. Now we have an old dog (lab mix) and a 4 year old pit bull who is afraid of everything haha.
I just think pitbulls are really misunderstood. Before any owner buys a dog they really need to do research on the breed or breeds if its a mitt. people need to be aware of cretin dog traits to find out whats best for their situation, family, if the breed is good with other animals/small children etc , and if getting an adopted dog like a pitbull (or any dog for that mater) from a shelter. need to be aware of the dogs past life. Again to figure out whats best for the dog and the family. The sad thing is people dont do this and dogs wind up in shelters or on the street. And that a lot of shelters lie about a dogs past.
We had a pitbull, who was fine for a while. But then decided it wanted to attack anything smaller or weaker then him, he was a sweetie to us. it makes me sad because we could have helped him if we had known about his past life which the vet lied to us. (he was the type to attack out of fear aggression)
