The Quiet Man Cottage differentlyThe cottage has been placed on the actual grounds where the movie was shot, namely the grounds of Ashford Castle, to create a realistic scene. The pictures of the cottage, the landscape of the Ashford gardens and the path are all my own resources.
The Quiet Man: Directed by John Ford. With John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Barry Fitzgerald. A disgraced American boxer retires to Ireland, where he finds love.

Aan de thumb te zien dacht ik even dat het om een foto ging, dat het een manip is vind ik echt te gek, dat heb je knap gedaan Marion!

Graag gedaan! Weet je dat ik dit soort manips veel leuker en mooier begin te vinden, ik ben de dames, feetjes en engeltjes een beetje zat aan het worden.

Kan ik me heel goed voorstellen Rona, het is ook allemaal zo voorspelbaar, die fantasy manips. Ik zou zeggen, leef je uit op andere manieren.
Ik ken een belg en die maakt heel mooie Magritte achtige manips, en allemaal met eigen resources. Hij maakt eerst de foto's zelf, en dan gaat ie knutselen. Ik ben zwaar fan van hem. Hier is de link [link] Ik weet niet of je hem kent?? Ik vind hem een grote inspiratie. Jij bent zo goed dat je ook zo een heel eigen stijl kunt ontwikkelen, dat weet ik zeker!!!

Toevallig ben ik een slideshow van hem een tijdje geleden op youtube tegen gekomen; [link] grappig dat jij hem nu ook noemt!(toch bedankt voor de link 
Hij is idd geweldig en dat hij zijn eigen foto's gebruikt is natuurlijk helemaal top, dan ben je ook niet gebonden aan de regels van een ander.
Ik heb me een tijdje geleden op matte painting gestort, pff dat is zo moeilijk, mijn painting skills zijn al niet zo geweldig, dus ik oefen me werkelijk suf. Ook daar is idd een eigen stijl in te ontwikkelen, mja ik vrees dat dat nog wel een tijdje op zich laat wachten
Nu ik heb gezien dat jij goed ben in manipulaties, zou ik van jou ook wel een wat meer manips willen zien...

Yep, it is a cult film by now I guess. I have never ever seen so many people going to a specific little village for a movie that old, as I have seen people strolling around in Cong on the "QM-tour'
