Description
So, a couple of years ago I was on my way home from an out-of-state venture. Stopped at a gas station to fill up, and I found a perfectly good, unused, still wrapped canvas propped up next to the garbage can. Brought it home and it's been sitting ever since. Felt like I was 'saving' it for some big project...Anyway, last night I was bored, wanted to paint, but had nothing to paint on. EXCEPT THIS HUGE CANVAS. Figured it was time to ruin it.
Started painting and a few hours later, this is what I had.
Again, haven't been posting (or even doing) much traditional work lately, so this was a nice refresher. Hopefully I can snap a better picture without the gradient from the ceiling lights on the canvas. So, uh, yeah. Does anyone actually read these but me?

Awesome, and definitely different from your usual traditional style. Reminds be of the work of Agnes Cecile [agnes-cecile.deviantart.com/]
And, lol, no you're not the only one reading these.

Wow, that's like really really good, professional actually! FAR beyond my skill level. that's a pretty interesting turn of events though. How something previously tossed aside as garbage eventually became the necessary foundation to create this beautiful piece. It really is amazing, no joke. And don't be so critical on yourself. This is the first I've seen of your work and I'm blown away. Keep up the good work!!!

tomas71, thank you so much for your response. I can't tell you how much it means to me. Being critical, I think, just comes with the work. I assume most people can be critical of their own work. I'm actually quite pleased with how this turned out. thanks again!
