The angle you've used in this piece goes well, emphasising the sheer height of the tree, and - perhaps unintentional - to me suggests that the tree has power.
What i would say though - maybe its this monitor - is that it seems a bit heavy on contrast. Slightly burned, if you get my drift.
Apart from that, your use of black and white adds alot to this photograph. Well done.
