Description
This would probably happen when they all meet together.I know Connor can speak English and maybe Aveline isnt really French.
For the ones wondering what they actually say:
Ratonhn:hakéton: I don't understand. What did you say? Repeat, please. (it was hard to find some Mohawk sentences )
Aveline de Grandpré: What do you mean?
Ezio Auditore: Is it hot in here, or is it just you?
Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad: What is this? Another Piece of Eden?
Nikolai Orelov: That is a gun! You use it to blow someone's head off!
Hope you like it! Maybe I'll make more of these!

Connor speaks English. His mother spoke it too. All natives at that time could speak English.
Ezio learned English from some British girls he visited. Possibly his ancestors Domenico and Renato Auditore made it compulsory to learn English, because they had tight relationships with the English and French Knights.

They look cute
I thought that Ratonhn:hakéton was the funniest and Ezio too

Ezio is funniest because I think he was the only playable Assassin that didn't speak English.
Altair knows English, but you would have to read Chaucer if you want to understand his 12th Century English, older than William Shakespeare. Also, not to spoil anything, but Altair made a prototype firearm at an old age and shared his designs with Ezio and his brotherhood across time.
Truthfully, this is the only parody I found of Assassin's Creed and foreign languages, and I think people often overlook an opportunity to make fun of the animus translating Italian in Assassin's Creed 2. For example: I blame the animus solely for Mario Auditore's unintentional resemblance of Super Mario because, for one thing, they were speaking Italian, so the guys inside the animus wouldn't be able to hear that reference, and another thing, video games were CENTURIES ahead of their time and so unless if there was an actual Nintendo character with them, the only ones that would recognize the reference would be Shaun, Desmond, Lucy, Rebecca, and Subject 16.

That's all true
And wtf is with the super Mario quote but I do have to admitted that was pretty funny
I remember sitting there watching the cutscene and all of the sudden i hear "it's a me Mario", I remember I had watch that twice because I was sick when I watched it the first time and I thought I was imaging things but it turns out I wasn't oh well

Also, regarding the animus translation bugs, as Sega has been on Ezio's planet much longer than Nintendo, I was reminded of "All Your Base" and discovered, "Bad Translator."
Here is a fine example of how the animus could translate poorly:
Mario: The fire of their ancestors, kouloun moumki moutlaq in the center of the table.
Machiavelli: Not all blind to see the truth, and don't forget...
Ezio: This is the real world.
Machiavelli: On the other hand, special people need to forget in conflict with the law...
Ezio: All these things can be free.
All people in unison: There is no doubt that this is prohibited.

My fan fic makes fun of it actually.

Shaun actually was complaining to Rebecca at one point for installing Nintendo games on a computer that was meant for the animus, and he knew a bit about Nintendo's history since his father was one of Rareware's developers.

These two are probably my favorite fan pictures of Assassin's Creed. monguin.deviantart.com/art/Did…

The fan fic is told primarily through Diddy Kong's point of view as he has descendants of his own using animi.

Shoot! I did not see that you have Sonic for your profile picture when I made that comment. LOL. However, again, before you start asking me what the blast is Total War, I have to warn you it's a completely different genre from Sonic. And the comment I made was entirely out of sarcasm.

Yeah, so the reason what I said to you was a reply in the first place was because I was thinking about the concept of Engrish made popular from All Your Base Are Belong to Us, and how that could be applied to an Assassin's Creed parody, like for example, let's say if there was either an Assassin's Creed fan fic of some sort taking place in Feudal Japan or a pirate-ninja spinoff featuring these two characters: monguin.deviantart.com/art/Edw… . All of the dialogue the ninja makes in her native language could be translated into a really hilarious form of Engrish making fun of how bad robot translators like this one for example: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DvD4t… Even the Animus could have translation bugs unless the technology can translate the thought process behind the words of the ancestor and his interpretation of the words from the people around him instead of making literal translations all the time.

Well, I got one for you. I'm a fan of iconic old school video game characters, but I also typically get good at sophisticated strategy games and know them well. As a result, I know that since last decade, there are two franchises Sega has to look after these days, one being Sonic the Hedgehog and the other being Total War. Although Assassin's Creed's gameplay is more towards the Sonic route obvously, the atmosphere fits Total War perfectly, and there are a few Assassin's Creed fans that love Medieval 2 Total War, not to mention this whole story I wrote: monguin.deviantart.com/art/Super-Auditore-Brothers-395475865
What does this have to do with the language translation bug? Well, I'm talking about Sega's greatest marvels and this, my friend, is the one internet meme that connects Sega's legacy with foreign language humor: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fvTxv…
Just imagine if not only is there a bit of a translation lag, but the subtitles do not give a proper translation either.

Desmond should have no problem talking to drunk people. He was a bartender, remember?
Oh, and did it occur to anybody that Ezio Auditore doesn't speak English?

Altair can speak English, just not the type of English Desmond can understand, or even William Shakespeare for that matter.

Just to learn a bit more about it - it's structure, pronounciation and a few words. I'm interested in the diversity of cultures, and languages are a part of these.
