I was thinking about the good memories in Goblet of Fire, I came up with Quidditch World cup but there was nothing memorable to show.
And then I though of First Task and it was not the glamor of fighting a dragon that attracted me but it was the fear that Harry conquered in that task and he won back the faith of Ron.
Ron's friendship was his reward.
