Description
Panel Five in a series of five.I wanted to illustrate a series of images from "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" to place as panels on the front of a chest of drawers I was redecorating.
I did take some inspiration from the movies in terms of the thrones and some of the clothing design, but the characters themselves are how I imagined them reading the books as a kid. Lucy always had blonde hair to me.

This is lovely, and yes, Lucy always had blonde hair to me. Then again, so did all the children except Edmund.
I love how Susan has a slightly different posture than everyone else, you can't see her legs and her hands aren't on the armrests.
You can tell she's the odd one out; she almost looks as if she's standing up to leave which is exactly what happened in The Last Battle.
