I don't know if Hinata would win, I think it would end in some tie. Because Sakura is a more of a fighter, while Hinatas nicer C:

never under estimate hinata, she's a huyga,one of the elite clans in konoha and has being doing rootless training with her father and sister, though not the best at the hyuga style,im CONFIDENT she could kick sakura's ass with no problem,because she has some knowledge of proper hand to hand combat unlike sakura who did no training at the time and mainly lusted after sasuke(whom also stated she should train more, cause its obvious she was really useless on the team...(hinata lasted a good while (against neji)..and hes a prodigy of the hyuga blood line(one of the born elites)im positive if it were sakura there instead of hina, the battle would be over in mere seconds as the match started.
moral of the story..(KIND AND SWEET CAN ALSO KICK ASS)

Eh... well Hinata was very nice back then, she most likely would of held back. And with Naruto cheering for Sakura, her confidence would of been crushed. Although doubtlessly she probably would of won.. (or forfeited). Shippuden.. might be a different story however.

she would be crushed if naruto cheered for sakura.but back then i dont think he would cheer for either...(naruto is a loud mouth,but im sure he would hush up and watch)cause like sakura, in that situation he would underestimate hinata and so he would have confidence in sakura...but lee was there in the stands too and (in the fight between hinata and neji) he gave details about how the hyuga are extraordinary fighters so as such he would do that here...(naruto hearing his story would have some confidence in hinata scratch that, more like a rising curiosity and would be neutral and sit back n watch the fight.
hinata knowing most likley naruto would have absolute confidence in sakura. And she knowing this is the situation were she can do her best in the infront of the one she admires the most(just like naruto at that time, when the other ninjas who look down on him)

i thinks hinata would still win in a fight between her and sakura and if not less likely it would be a draw.
REASONS: yes sakura has her medical ninjutsu and her freaky strength, for her to use her super strenght which is taijutsu based chakra attack, against a hyuga whom are refered to have the ultimate close quarters techniques.(hinata as well as sakura have been training to become stronger) sakura wouldn't be able to land a hit on hinata, because its just brute strength based attack's lacking technique(basically if they fought it would be similar to a black belt martial artist taking on a normal person with brute strength
and hinata would most likely counter her sluggish punches and kicks then use the 32 plams technique to block her chakra points.
making the use of chakra inoperable.
(yes that also goes for medical ninjutsu) so no healy for sakura

Naruto usually doesn't keep his mouth shut. He didn't in Ino vs Sakura. I highly doubt that he would shut up simply for a different case

in Part II, after receiving two and a half years of training from Tsunade, Sakura's abilities have vastly increased, to the point where she was able to hold her own against powerful enemies such as Sasori. She was able to find Kakashi during the second bell training quickly, while Naruto could not. Sakura was also able to tell how dangerous an opponent (ex. Sasori) is by the first encounter. Sakura was able to outsmart Sai, Kiba and Rock Lee, putting them to sleep with a gas without them noticing, especially Sai, who is a member of Root.
In close combat, Sakura's taijutsu skills have seen tremendous growth thanks to Tsunade's constant battle drills to better protect herself should she find it impossible to avoid battle. To further aid her in that situation, she can rely on the super strength taught to her by Tsunade. Sakura's skill has reached the point where she can handle multiple opponents, such as Sasori's puppets with ease.
By building up and releasing her chakra with precise timing, Sakura could easily decimate any obstacle and turn it to rubble. An opponent struck by her full strength could suffer from anything ranging from instant death, broken bones, ruptured organs, or any other wound associated with intense blunt force trauma. It should also be noted, that even without this augmented strength, Sakura has shown a great deal of raw strength, as seen when she was able to pull Sasori and destroy his body in a single punch before he could react.
With her excellent chakra control, Sakura had turned into an excellent combat medical-nin, and had shown herself to be able to heal fatal injuries with relatively little effort, even when more experienced medics would deem it a lost cause. She also has shown extensive knowledge of poisons and herbal medicine, surpassing even the knowledge of Chiyo. Her knowledge was great enough to withdraw Sasori's advanced poison directly from KankurΕ's body, and create multiple antidotes immediately. Tsunade also taught her how to make a powerful sleeping gas. Shizune has been mentoring Sakura as well; showcased by a kunai which had been entrenched in poison.
Over time and through repeated use, Sakura had become able to use this strength and she does not need to put any effort into using it. Her strength, coupled with her medical expertise and the beauty she gained over the time skip, had caused many to see Sakura as a younger version of Tsunade, or someone who could even surpass Tsunade.

data book score...numbers and estimated logic don't always determine the "will" of the human physce....(basically when pushed to a corner even a timid dog will snap) and un-foreseen things would happen.so don't judge this fight based on logical statistics.
next sakura wouldn't have won that fight on her own against sasori the granny was controlling her body like a puppet.and she knows all about the lil traps used by sasori and his puppets (so plz dont think she defeated him baised on her own will
hinata is a secondary character yet has much more fans than sakura, being a secondary character we do not know wat new jutsu's she has mastered, but training with her father and neji the prodigy of the clan for 2 years straight...must have made a great impact....

Not a bad job on the drawing, and I agree that if Hinata would have given her all against Sakura, she probably would have beaten her.
Shippuuden, though.. That's another story. Sakura's more experienced and has more medical prowess than Hinata and she's got better techniques from what we've seen. I think Sakura would win, hands-down, on Shippuuden.

wow i could so see this happening! I really wouldn't listen to those hinata haters. I mean they clearly dont see that sakura is just plain useless! It shames me because she's the only girl that actually does get enough screen time but just wastes it!
anyway i really do believe that hinata would win this fight and i highly disagree with luvgoodstuf, because since hinata has been training so hard when naruto left, she actually learned to move faster like neji. and its only natural for a hyuga to block so fast. not to mention hinata would not want to lose to sakura ESPECIALLY when naruto's watching!
