Oh damn, love how you put so much detail into the water. Love the beast's face as well. So much meaning in this, instead of bloodshed the beast is feeding upon the love someone's giving to it. I know that feeling as I have experienced it with someone whom, up until recently, I considered a very good friend. You have my sympathy. I know it's hard to accept, but don't let them torment you. Your life didn't begin with them, and they will not be the end of you.

I would say "keep up the good work", but it's pointless: I know you will. Your use of colour is incredible, and those waves look like they were conjured by a wizard. I love what you did with the monster's teeth by the way - not sure if it's deliberate, but it resembles very strongly the jaws of a sharp. Anatomically accurate and mind-blowing and and and... *brain explodes*
In all seriousness though... I know the feeling. Despite how bouncy and happy-go-lucky I may appear at times, I can be pretty dead on the inside too. But you know what - I have come to realise one thing, recently. All these scars and wounds, and pieces of me that have been set alight by anyone that I misplaced my love in - these things make me the person that I am. They are twisted and unfortunate things, but if my path in life was full of roses and pretty flowers I wouldn't be the man I am today. I am sure that in some twisted and unfair way, the things that hurt you the most have also made you the amazing person that you are <3
