Description
After arriving in Republic City, Avatar Korra simply expects to learn air bending from Master Tenzin, but she quickly finds out there's some sort of rebellion against benders brewing within the town. Apparently, the leader is a guy named Amon who has the ability to take away the bending ability of any bender.

Deeper investigations uncovers the truth; Amon is actually a powerful water bender who possesses exceptionally strong blood bending.

After a few weeks of attacks on his clan, Korra finally decides to confront him at his own public event, trying to expose him as a bender to the crowd, but he has made up a convincing lie and successfully deflects the accusation, initiating a pursue after the Avatar.

By the end of it, Korra runs into a supply room and hides. Amon slowly walks into the room. As he walks past her, Korra sighs quietly in relief, but that's enough to tip the rebel leader of her location. He uses powerful blood bending to immobilize her and pull her out of her hiding place, and while she tries to struggle, Amon forces her to her knees in front of him, back turned to him.

He grabs her neck forcefully as he does before taking someone's bending away. "N- No...!" Korra manages to utter out as she struggles. "Finally... I have many plans for you, Avatar Korra." Amon said smugly. While Korra was expecting him to take away her bending, she didn't know that something much worse was in store for her...

So, I kind of simplified things from the show because I wanted to keep things short, but I think I hit all the relevant points. Let me know what you think!

I should say that it's preferable that you'd watch the show to understand everything that's going on. I left a lot of stuff out. But the general idea is that instead of what happened in the show, Amon would've found a way to use blood bending to affect the mind; maybe slowly alter Korra's memory, or maybe break her brain completely and make her his stringed, puppeteered Avatar. Your choice! Just be detailed in what you want to do, exactly.
