So, yeah, this is the next part! Although, don't worry, there will be a next part to this called 'Lab Rats part 2'. This is set a couple of weeks after Jenny has met Finn and Rod, but also a few days before Eleanor and Sandra's crystals are introduced, and the reason Finn looks so short compared to Jenny and Rod is because of distance. So he's basically further back than them. Lol I may have derped a little on drawing the facial expressions though, but oh well! XD

Jenny, Finn and Rod all walked together down the narrow street lane, whilst they sang 'Thankful Heart' from the Muppets Christmas Carol together. Jenny thought this was actually rather fitting because it was sung by Finn's voice actor, Michael Caine.
"Every night will end, and every day will start, with a grateful prayer and a thankful-" Finn sang, but he stopped halfway through as if he'd suddenly noticed something.
"What's wrong?" Jenny asked.
"We're being followed." Finn replied quietly, and Jenny experienced that feeling which was like a brick dropping into your stomach.

Who was following them? And why? Was it Professor Z and the Lemons? Probably not, but whoever it was who was following them, it couldn't have been for a good reason.
"DUCK!" Finn yelled to her and Rod, and they all quickly dropped to the ground, with barely any time to spare as something flew over their heads (Jenny could feel it narrowly skimming the top of her hair) and they looked up to see, to their horror, that there were 3 tranquilliser darts lodged into the wall next to them, having missed their targets. And it was no mystery what their targets were.

"Run!" Said Rod, and they took off at a sprint, not daring to look behind them. Finn and Rod chose to stay in their human forms during this so that no one would see them as Cars, and Jenny remained in her normal version to prevent anyone from witnessing her FlashyPebble form. They could hear the sound of footsteps rapidly approaching behind them, so Jenny pointed her hand at the ground and used her magic to make a huge ice puddle there. As long as she had the crystal with her, she could use her water and ice magic. A moment later, she heard several slipping and thudding sounds behind her as their pursuers went skidding across the ice that she'd created.
"That should slow them down a bit." Jenny said with a satisfied smile. But as they turned around a few more corners, they suddenly came to a stop in front of a huge metal fence, which was at least 8 feet tall.
"Quick, gimme a boost and then I'll pull you 2 over!" Rod exclaimed, and so Jenny and Finn gave him a leg up over the fence, and once he was safely over, he remained at the top and pulled them over onto his side of the fence.

"Did we lose them?" Said Jenny.
"Yeah, I think so." Rod answered, panting for breath from all the running and from climbing over the fence.
"Well done, both of you." Finn complimented them as he sighed from slight exhaustion. But their relief didn't last long, though, because a few seconds later, they heard the sound of guns cocking behind them, and they turned around to see what looked like men from the military, all pointing guns at them for some reason.
"What do you want from us?!" Jenny called out.
"Come with us, now!" Once of the officers commanded.
"We're not going anywhere with you guys!" Rod yelled back.
"I didn't want to have to do this." Someone spoke up, with an American accent. "But it looks like I have no choice." And he revealed himself to be a tall man in short dark brown hair, black-framed glasses and twinkling hazel eyes. He appeared to be wearing a lab coat of some sort. He reached into his pocket and pulled out what looked like a tranquilliser dart gun, and he shot Finn, Rod and Jenny with it, one after the other.
"Who the hell are you...?" Jenny asked, but her voice trailed off as she, just like Rod and Finn, dropped down to the floor and began to fall unconscious from the effects of the tranquilliser dart. The man who she assumed was a scientist walked up to her, and she just managed to make out the name 'Doctor M. Keates' written on his ID tag, but that was the last thing Jenny saw before she blacked out completely.
