Screw "potential". Ed's going to die if he gets clocked (and he will) with that wrench.Kindly ignore the AWFUL background. Or lack thereof.
I can explain though! The way I did the layers wouldn't let me do anything cool, so.....yeah.
Anyway, I hope you like it. I'm practicing my action poses, so hopefully it came out okay.
I'd really appreciate some feedback on this. Especially the coloring. I'm not so proud of my coloring skills and I want to make them better so my art can be amazing and beautiful. :3

Maybe the stripes in the background should have been centered/pointed around Ed even in the upper right corner, but I agree with another commenter, it adds to the HO SHIT-feeling! XD

Well your lineart is clean. What program do you use?
I know it's unessesary if you shrink the final picture like here, but you can see on the original size you have missed a few small, SMALL, areas to colour. But this is also a matter of how you colour and how loose you are in your style. I WANT to become looser (like ~schellibie ), but I still religiously colour every single pixel within my squeaky clean straight lineart.

I think you shade really good on the clothes and folds! Eh...I don't know what to say, I think your colouring looks great already. ._. OH GOD I'M SO HELPFUL. It depends on the style again, but maybe you could have more details. Like more lines on the braid, darker shadow in more places. 
The empty coat-sleave rocks my sock. Knots are seriously difficult to do.

I see. Hmmm... I'll think about putting more detail in. See, I'm impatient and kinda rush through my art sometimes. xDDDD For some reason, I feel like I have some sort of deadline. O-O;;; I dunno. *shrug*

Ha, priceless! I think the background adds to it, actually. It gives us more of Ed's "Oh, shat, I'm gonna get killed!" feeling.
