Description
What is Zeed?Zeed is a very minimal picture and image viewer application. You can use it instead of the windows own viewer. It's very simple handtool.
Why is it better?
Well, i think it's more minimal, and nicer, than the other one.
Any disadvanteges?
Yes. Its a Japanese program, with japanese menu. But i'm sure, that you don't need the menu. Just setup your win, that all the images will be open with this program.
Why is it here?
I uploaded this program here, because it took a lots of hours for me to find it, and finally it was unsuccesfull, so a thought that it would be a good idea upload here.
What is it look like, anyway?

You can try it woithout installation, just unzipped the files into a folder you created for it.

Wow! That's cool! Since using Windows 10, I was looking for an lighter, better to use Image viewer than the included Photo App (also: this one sends information about how much photos you've watched to Microsoft...). First, I was a bit surprised that the usual curor or pgup pgdown did not work, but [Space] and [Backspace] does indeed make sense

Very nice skin! ย However, compared with your picture here is the icons in the squares for "headphone" and "clock" not visible (or working), neither is the text and time for current track visible for me. The playlist section is okey. Any clue why?

There is a way,
It should be the second drop down menu label (V)
Then the option that will get rid of the menu bar
is 3 from the bottom with the label (M)
Click that and it should disappear. :]

I have it working, i see what went wrong, i checked the Zeed homepage for the latest version, thats why it did not work.
Now i tryed yours and it works perfect.

I have the same problem as 'shanahben' When i select a picture and hit 'open with' and select the .exe it does not apear in the menu.
I hope it will be fixed soon because now i can't use Zeed as my standard picture viewer, ore there must be a other way to do that?
I hope the English version will be released soon aswell so i can check what Zeed is cappible off.

hey! i dont know what u two doing, but it have to be good on every pc.
I did this:
Program Files/Zeed --> copied, the zeed files, and than, ight click on a jpg...When i been asked to choose the program, just browse this exe... So u have to be choose if u want to use, cause it not appear automatically.

So far I love Zeed. [link] Very minimal. Thanks for the ESC key explanation (to get rid of the menu). To make the pic smaller, press the "-" key. To enlarge, press the "+" (you might have to hold the shift key as well). I am eagerly anticipating an English translation. [link]

Is there way for zeed to scale the images? i like it but I have alot of hi res pics that are bigger than my screen res and zeed just takes the whole space.

yeah I've heard about it and tried to google, turned up nil and when almost all hope was gone a simple dA serch came to my rescue so much for google first, ask later
