Originally submitted to the Gang of Five on Nov 9, 2019 for the fanart prompt: The world is not always a happy place. Not every adventure goes according to plan, not every person you meet has your best intentions in mind. Draw a scene which incorporates the theme of "Hurt" and/or "Fear".

Once I read the fanart prompt I couldn't get the idea of drawing Pterano out of my head and decided on going with a scene in which Pterano is starting to pull desperate members of the herd away with promises of paradise.
