I've been playing a Blades in the Dark game recently and drawing a metric shit-ton of my character, Dom, a huge (like, nearly 7 feet tall) thief who's gradually turning into an even bigger metal demon. They're super cute and I love them SO MUCH

*waves her hand* May I point at one thingy? From what i understand, they have/had same problem with walking I used to have once: high heels can play a bad joke on you, if you don't stretch regularly, like your Achilles tendons can get really short so while you walking on your toes or on heels everything is fine, but once you get a flat heels, walking becomes pain. Quite literally. But here their feet are literally forcing their achilles to shorten? Wow, I bet this sucks royally. I had it bad and I don't weight much, but I can't imagine how bad it must be for them,given that metal demons probably weight A LOT and transformation doesn't happen at once... Seriously, man, you are the devil!

C:< YUP, it's pretty painful for them! They have to wear lifts to walk comfortably, but even that's not quite enough. Unfortunately, wearing high heels isn't the smartest thing to do when climbing through a window to steal someone's silverware, so they just have to bear it as best they can...for now, at least.

A little grimmer, actually--a rival gang leader gouged out Dom's eye and a bunch of gold scales from their face and, adding insult to injury, went and had a few gold teeth made out of it. Dom, ah, reclaimed it after a while.

Oh ouch! Poor Dom-is a happy ending possible for them, or are they doomed to be in a neutral or bad ending?

Blades is a pretty tough game, mechanically speaking, but a happy ending IS possible! Dom could still retain their humanity and friends despite becoming a demon.
And even if Dom goes full demon and loses their humanity entirely, they do still have a lot of loving demon family members who would be quite proud of them, so even that's not so bad (they would stop being a player character at that point tho cuz demons are too OP in game)
