DONE. ALL DONE. DANG.
This has been a pretty crazy ride, and despite burnout and time conflicts, I'm very glad to have finished this (and grateful to the judges and my opponent for graciously allowing me the needed time). Overall this tournament has been pretty nuts--the total tally of individual pages I've done is 264. What the HELL. Pretty awesome, I think! I probably won't be doing a solo tourney for a while again, but this was a great learning experience, and I'm glad I got to spend it exploring one of my favorite characters.

I loved your story! I won't lie I was expecting Bupsy to go super sayain and absorb the magic, what with how you dropped what I thought was hints that bupsy might lose control if he absorbed too much magic.

the whole story is absolutely great but i must admit im dissapointed that you didnt tell exactly what happened when the powers returned, i hate those kind of open endings, tho with burnout and the rest of the story being so damn great im ok with it. (not like i can change it anyway XD)

But the overall story was done great with that twisted friendship... or it's something more.

Only if you considered tangible evidence and adventure the main goal of the story. In terms of an emotional character arc, I think he found out quite a lot

I cant believe how well you were still able to do with such little time, its incredible.ย
You handled that so called conundrum of not knowing how to handle space aliens really well, and made it fit in perfectly to the crazy lore that the library has going in your story. Everything was cute, kickass, and overall a fun read ;w;
I'm glad you're finally done with it so you can rest, but i definitely hope this wont be the last we'll see of Bupsy. he's the best and i wanna see more of him some day ;w;

Aw man that was a good read XD It's true that Bupsy's role didn't really play much throughout the story, but he finally did something there. And finally got what we wanted, getting back home and silly routine (of eating people and about to get a date with Wyonna). The story pace is very smooth and clean, good job!

Yeah, I think that's both the risk and the hook of the story I wanted to tell--having a character who intentionally doesn't belong/doesn't measure up to the 'main story' is a cool concept, but the failing is that they could just...not be all that interesting/impactful. Glad you enjoyed the pacing, too! I was really worried that part 12 would read all kinds of funny.
