Wow. Just wow. I wish that I could give you advanced critique. Um... the colors are pretty? And I really like how you made the flow of the water. Maybe the ripples were a bit too bumpy? And why's there a communist symbol on the flag?

Very nice painting, everything looks lovely. The water has been done particularly well with all the reflections and ripples. I also really love the subtle change of the lighting from the first layer of leaves on the trees to the shadowy trunks and foliage below

Amazing work with the oils. The lighting especially looks great. The only thing that bothers me in it (which I'm only mentioning because you *did* ask for advanced crits) is the shape of the wake behind the boat. Instead of something created by the boat, it seems more like seperate waves set at an angle to those on the rest of the water. Usually the wake of a ship forms something like a valley, with crests on either size. Actually, I'd probably be better linking the article I found on the wake of ships on google, it seems to cover things better than I would

All in all though, that's a pretty specific crit, and other than that you've done an excellent job depicting a summers day out sailing. The waves on the water and the trees on the left are especially well done
