I am still working on those requests! Remember way back in forever-ago when I accepted requests? Yup, this is still the continuing backlog. (I WILL get all of them done, mark my words).The latest one is a request by , for a sketch of Vaati Reborn. It was pretty interesting to do, considering I'd never drawn this version of Vaati before and whatever pictures of him in this form is only pixelated (excluding fanart, and please don't mention that sad pathetic abomination that's in the Minish Cap Manga. Please).
Anyways here you guys go, right before the holidays!

This is the best Vaati Reborn art I have ever seen. Seriously. I never thought of the gold things as fire before now, and the way you made the headpiece truly a headpiece that makes sense and not just horns sprouting from his head, and that EXPRESSION, and... urgh! Basically, everything about this is amazing! Abso-f*cking-lutely AMAZING!

That's a good question... I think we really only see the wrath form, and I'm guessing he either got stuck in that form or he liked it best since it was his 'most powerful' form. It rarely ever appears in fanfics, but now that you mention it I see no reason why not... hmmmmHMMMM

I think it's nice, I certainly thought so since I faved it, however, there are a few things...
The painting looks really blotchy, it sticks out most for me on the big eye. That's my main complaint, but otherwise, I like your take on Vaati Reborn, maybe I should try drawing him, give it a shot.

Just because something can be worse, doesn't make it less bad. I'd like to point out that when parents tell their children there are starving children in China, it doesn't make the food any more appetizing, and when a child is "only" being emotionally bullied, it's no less scarring for the fact they could've been beaten by their attackers instead. Exaggerated examples? Yes. But true.

and haha yes, if you've followed me for a while as msfcatlover pointed out, you'll see a lot of half-assed coloring for sketch requests (actually they, for whatever reason, ended up getting more colorful and less half-assed for the later ones >_>) and the real effortful deviations to be less "blotchy" as you put it. My gallery isn't very consistent, you might find...

Have I mentioned I love how you draw hands. I think I have. I also love the hair and the face and the headdress and the shoulder armor and the robes and the EYES (all of them omg) and the fire and-- well everything holy shit

Haha hands are SO DIFFICULT - I cheat a lot, don't know if you've noticed, but I use a lot of the same hand angles and finger curls over and over and over again because hands are so awkward. There was a hand tutorial I saw somewhere that was super helpful... it was somewhere on devart i think...

I don't blame you for cheating-- hands are really hard. But even so, you draw the ones that you draw very well, and they look nice which is what matters. I hate drawing new angles without a reference because they absolutely never turn out right.
With a direct reference-- ie being so close it's almost tracing-- I can draw them somewhat decently.

omg I agree... the manga... I really liked how they did Vaati's Hylian form and all but when I got to the end and it was all fluffy and cutsey...
while I have nothing against fluffy and cutsey, it was just so different from my own interpretation of Vaati from the games that I just couldn't
