Description
I decided to make another little animation. This one has 10 different frames (or technically 9 if you don't count one of the duplicates with a blinking difference in it).I am not very good at animations but I think this one came out fairly well. Perhaps I'm trying to do too much in too few frames... but with the time it takes to create an animation like this, I think it was a good balance between time investment and result.

The most important is not the time, but the quality.

Actually, since this is a thing I do for enjoyment (and not because it's my job) the most important thing is that it is fun. So balance is more important than going for either best speed or best quality. Of course I want to deliver quality, but to make the best possible animation, I'd be drawing on this for two weeks. Which is too much, because then that's all I'll be doing and there are many other things I want to do in my time. But yes, I think quality is important. I try to keep it high.

You're luck, animation isn't my strong point. I have problems to draw or animate big pictures, the only animations which I do are just game sprites...

Thanks, Ches! I'm happy you think so. It is nice to see that it turned out pretty well because until the end I couldn't be entirely sure of it. I never put the raw sketches into keyframes and since all of it comes from pencil drawings (not done by the computer) it was a bit hard to get a good idea.

I still think that it could have been better if I had added more frames, to get a smoother movement. Now there's a bit longer breaks too so it all doesn't go too fast and I think it's not very fluent. But nice you liked it!
I'll probably make another (smoother but less frame demanding) animation in the future. I have another idea in my mind, but different pose.
