Magritte is without a doubt my favourite artist. I remember seeing this in the Daily Deviations a long time ago and adoring it, but I couldn't remember what it was called. I'm glad I found it again, it just makes my day!

Wow, this brings back memories! I had this picture book with all these drawings like this one in it. I don't remember what it was about, but the art was by Magritte and it was very surreal, very cool. So is this.

i did a recreation in my photo I class of this picture... i stuck a pocket knife in the apple and teh model held it with her teeth. ^_^ nice shot though!

As written in the comment, it was an exercise to practice studio. Before to be creative you need to learn basics, right ? So it was one of my first studio session, I hope some day I will be able to post more "creative" work...
