Description
Here's an attempt to deal with Janus' (I think his name is) oversized head by replacing it with a Dark Eldar one.By the way, Blackstone Fortress is top-notch!

How do you get the pieces to fit together so well?

The first rule of converting - wood elf and dark eldar bitz are crucial to any kitbash.
But seriously, I believe that in order to create a goodkitbash, you need to have a decent idea of what GW has to offer - that is, know every miniature they've released. Once you know the miniatures you'll be working with, you can get more creative, as the more kits we know, the more bitz we can use. Buying miniatures from all armies (or just seeing them in your local GW store, friend's place or whatever) gives you a general idea of their size and whenever they will fit the rest miniature you'll be working with. True first rule - before you assemble or buy anything, think your miniature idea over. Bitz might not fit, remeber that, especially now that GW makes so different miniatures (size of a guardsman - size of AoS miniatures). Last thing- buy bitz from independent bitz sellers, not entire kits from GW. Always a good thing for your wallet

Yes, Yes and more Yes! Great kitbash idea!
Still need some greenstuff cleanup and I'm not a fan of that base.
Really cool stuff overall.

Thanks for the feedback, nice and constructive. You make some good points - the cleanup is neccessary, and as far as the base is concerned - it has been kinda rushed and not well-thought - and the first rule of kitbashing is 'think your idea over before grabbing your tools'. If I were to leave it as it is, I would probably just lazily clog all the holes in it with some texture paint, which would be a waste of a nice miniature. Instead, I'm going to work on that miniature for a little longer. But, all things aside, I'm glad you like it!
