This looks more like a freshly-made burn wound than a scar, but, it might be me.

I burned my leg real bad a while back, and I showed a picture of it to a few of my friends, two of them initially thought it was a pizza with the toppings peeled off

An old burn will look like the 2nd image.Β  The skin is discolored and often bunched up or stretched out in clumps of scar tissue. Anything else is either a fresh , newly debrided, or very infected wound.

FleshQB In reply to Starlight-Destiny [2020-03-04 23:16:23 +0000 UTC]

Its still a pretty new scar and when I googled it they can be very red- though I might have exaggerated a little it but there are scars like this :>

i have a character with a burn scar, and just wondering, what steps would you get rid of for a burn scar less fresh? this looks like it just happened, and the character I need to draw had theirs happened a while ago, and their scar was medically treated...
