*You can create gif multiple ways but the easiest and free way is this way; make different layers in which you draw the differences which will show the movement when played after each other. Then save each layer as an png. file, this will keep the background transparent. After that go toward this site gifmaker.org which will allow you to create a gif for free online. The quality is pretty good though it does go down a little.

I didn't go into the deeper details, just the pixel tool in photoshop and the basic steps I take when drawing pixel art, feel free to ask any questions if you want to know more ^^
