No news team had a reasonable story to air. The police didn't know anything so they didn't have anything to say.

The building had been occupied, an office of some sort. Two bodies had been carted out, more were rumored to be inside. Nobody knew what sort of business had been run, or why the building had been gutted out with fire. The police had found (and quickly hidden away) a broken flamethrower near where they thought the fire had started. But that was all so far.

The building was soaking wet from the hoses used that morning. Some dry paper and soot did whirl and skitter across the pavement, catching on one officer's boot. He picked it up, frowning at what he could read.
