I feel great sadness, and grief from the subject. From a very subtle look from her I feel enormous, powerful, emotions poring out of her. Such sadness, sorrow, grief and anger all mixed. All I want to do when I look at her is try to console her. It makes me feel so helpless. Β Β

I really lik the mix of subtle texture changed in this piece. The softness of the skin, the quiet textured dress, hair and the background all add up to an intriguing image.
I wish the eyes were a little brighter or more engaging they are a little bit too distant in the face, being very similar to the skin tone, I think just brightening them up a touch would help to make it even more engaging.
All in all a stunning picture executed to the highest standard. Bravo!

I don't know if you read all of the comments you get, but I like this picture very much and I faved it some time ago, I'd really like to take it as a reference for a drawing, mainly for the colors and the pose. Nothing that will be sold or anything (you can have a look at my gallery to have an idea of how unprofessional my technique is ^_^'') I'd just like to let me inspire by it. Would it be ok for you?

I'm usually doing only traditional drawings (except for some comic strips), so no photomanipolation or things like that.
