Description Continuation of Rotation .

So Trisha (eggmanstudio ) and I played around with the Rotation trick a little more, playing around with the finer details of the trick inside and outside the box. Here are our results:
  • Connecting stump to stump works! Trisha was able to join herself together to form... I don't know what to call it. A reverse queen conjoinment? Symmetrical humantaur taurso? But she definitely had quite a bit of fun with it.
  • I met a second me, made from my lower half. We are exact copies from the time we were created, and could think and work independently. We might even be able to give ourselves legs if we really wanted to, effectively making us permanent twins. But we agreed that this time would only be temporary, and we would reverse the process. Of course, this didn't really happen, because...
  • One of me stuck ourselves onto one of Trisha's legs, and she lost control of that part of herself. By which I mean Trisha did. While her mind only occupied her legs, it still seems to stick with the sawing rule of parent parts being dominant. So if both of us Pennys decided to attach ourselves to Trisha, she effectively wouldn't have any control over herself.
  • Thankfully, the Rotation trick remembers who is who in what box. If my upper half is on Trisha's legs, and we flip the box upside down with us inside, Trisha would become the upper half, and I would lose control over my now-legs. Which became a real relief when we did just that, turning the end of the Rotation experience into what is essentially the same thing as the end of a Double Sawing.
  • I cannot recommend the trick enough, thanks to this one experience. For anyone who wants to become two pairs of legs, or two independent upper halves, this trick is available to you to use anytime.

Mmmmm~Β  That first trick with the reverse queen conjoinment is very interesting.Β  In regards to what you've discussed before, would she have any senses like sight and even speech via magic or something?Β  Or is her only power the ability to survive in such a form?

She can sense with magic, and of course survive. It's the same as her separated legs form, just connected together.

Heh, thanks. I've been having a lot of fun discovering the potential of such a simple trick, and all the effects that come from it.

Even still, there are a few things yet to explore: what happens if you Queen (attach upper half to upper half) two assistants, and then reverse the parts into something resembling the first image? Is it possible to turn double upper halves into whole people, and how? Can we manage to get one person's mind into the other's upper half? So many questions left unanswered.

Oh, my goodness, this looks too fun! ^.^ I was wondering about these, and kind of want to try them myself.

Heh heh. That double-legs thing... It looks quite amusing, and it's good to hear she enjoyed it!

    Double Pennys! W? Certainly an interesting experience anyone with the opportunity should try at least once! Just don't go too long that way, or things get awkward. <.<;

And of course, finishing off with swapped bottoms is always fun. Ooh, that gives rise to the potential for something else. Two assistants, each comprising half of one body, and keep flipping back and forth between them!

    πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

FlexibleAnatomy In reply to TenyoSciurus [2015-03-18 02:24:10 +0000 UTC]

Do it. Play with the Reversal, turn yourself into double legs, or double yourself. You will not regret it at all.

And actually, being doubled has never felt that bad for me. From the first pony blog I created to Penny/Partway's innermost desire to have a second version of herself to bounce ideas off of and do tricks with, it's always sort of lingered with me. Any more than that might be going too far, but just one more me is surprisingly rather appealing.

Ooh, so it's like a timeshare body? Each person owns a part of the combined assistant, but they can only use it a fraction of the time? That probably would be a good idea, so long as the assistants are into it. Trisha and I probably would be.

    πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

TenyoSciurus In reply to FlexibleAnatomy [2015-03-18 03:12:17 +0000 UTC]

It's not that there's any expectation that being doubled would feel bad, but rather that there would be very unfortunate consequences to staying doubled for extended periods of time.

I'd imagine bouncing ideas off yourself would be rather disappointing, seeing as you're still drawing from the same pool of inspiration. I could only see it being helpful if it turned out just voicing your ideas helped you develop them, since just talking to a wall would be awkward. Having someone like-minded but different is so much more useful!

Hmmmmm. Perhaps it's time to consider rp with three.

    πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

FlexibleAnatomy In reply to TenyoSciurus [2015-03-18 03:22:19 +0000 UTC]

Well, the biggest thing with being doubled is that from that point of duplication, both of you are different from each other. Yes, you're the exact same upon creation, but even something like where one ends up relative to the other can trigger a change that snowballs into an entirely different person. You're that much closer to something, so you're more likely to go over to it, making you more likely to use said object first. In the case of the magic prop, you're already setting up the prime method of entry to beat the other you into it, giving you the first go of the trick, making your first impression a lot stronger than the other. And that's just one simple action - imagine it occurring many times over a day, a week, a month. By that point, both of you are different enough to have differing opinions and perspectives in ideas and topics.

Hah, maybe the timeshare assistant could come in handy with transitioning between a two person RP to a three person RP. You have one RP where the two assistants meet and get to know each other, and then they join their body into one. Then you spend the next however long period of time using both assistants in separate RPs, until such a point as scheduling can work out and all three can take part in regular multi-person RPs.

TenyoSciurus In reply to FlexibleAnatomy [2015-03-18 03:27:35 +0000 UTC]

That sounds hilarious and fun. It would also void the problem of what the person playing the leg-half assistant does, unless you're both okay with just spectating for large chunks of the rp.

    πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

FlexibleAnatomy In reply to TenyoSciurus [2015-03-18 03:29:12 +0000 UTC]

I can go with spectating. It gives me plenty of time to focus on other things, while still somewhat engaging in an RP.

    πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

TenyoSciurus In reply to FlexibleAnatomy [2015-03-18 03:33:28 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I can certainly see becoming a spectator being no problem at all. It'd just be a really awkward thing to ask somebody to do, or put their character in such a position as to require it.

Hence why we talk about it beforehand, like this. Problem solved.
