Smolder seems to be a bit older, but by not much, just enough to having been through the molting and all. Maybe Spike being "not all that dragon-like" was a late bloomer of sorts. If we gotta give it some humanish ages, I'd say Spike's around 16-18 and Smolder's like... 20-22.
