I believe, I read some where that in Japan that the symbolism of a reverse hug, show protectiveness and loyallty. I could see that fitting Ralsei and Susie's relationship, in the bed room as well as on the battle feild.ΒI can't stop, lol
But, in my defense of this ship, There is plenty of odd ships in this game, Toriel and Sans, Undying and Alphys, and every other rule 34 ship.

This type of ship is rather interesting. A small goat-guy and a brawny t-rex-girl. Both love each other, but one hides a softer side that the other brings out. I quite like that, really.

This one is wonderful. We all want to love like this and be loved likewise in return. Few things more wonderful than being hugged from behind out of the blue.
