Thanks! I try, but rarely do others pick up on them. At least in my comics there are hints of cameo monsters and other things in the back ground, like a famous cursed painting, slenderman, the shining rug etc. I'm not sure if anyone one really notices them.
For my self I like to go back and find little easter eggs like that.

If that is flicks mom, why doesn't he look more monstrous?

Cause he only has 18% of her demon blood, but there are some traits that he has of hers. Yellow eyes (which voluntarily glow), black tail and hair (looking more like knives or black flames), fangs, and I haven't shown it in the comics yet that he does have a long tongue.
He doesn't have many traits but they are there.
