I like it. it has really dark subjects in it.

whilst I won't deny the themes being compelling despite it being dark and some of the characters are rather stock anime tropes.
I'm more about the characters and their divergences, such as legosi's grandad and mom, Louise, Haru, etc. and animal characteristics.
Such example, Legosi and his canine dorm friends animalistic expressive behaviour, which against the cold restraint of many herbivores make carnivores appear more honest.
